APS Energia will supply PKP Intercity Remtrak with equipment for carriages worth over PLN 10 million. This contract aligns with the company’s development strategy in the Traction & Transport segment.

The order follows a contract signed with PKP Intercity Remtrak in May 2021 for the supply of single-system under-carriage static converters produced by APS Energia, along with on-board diagnostic systems and pressure recorders. The first deliveries from the new order are scheduled for January 2024, and the entire contract is to be completed within 14 months.

“We have received another order from PKP Intercity Remtrak in the traction and transport segment, which fits into our strategy. This is an important contract, as the Traction & Transport (T&T) sector plays a key role in the development of APS Energia. With this in mind, we continuously develop our product range and enrich it with further, innovative solutions for the Traction & Transport sector dedicated to railways, trams, metro, as well as electric and hybrid buses in the area of network infrastructure,” comments Piotr Szewczyk, President of the Management Board of APS Energia.

“Another such large contract confirms the trust our customers place in us, as well as the technological capabilities of our company. APS Energia is distinguished by flexibility and dynamic response to meeting customer needs. Over the past few years, we have delivered 2.5 thousand devices for manufacturers and companies modernizing rolling stock in the Polish market. Just this year, we have contracted deliveries of over 1 thousand devices, which will be implemented up to 2027. The quoted figures confirm the stable position of APS Energia in the domestic market. Experience in the domestic market helps us in our foreign expansion. We are currently developing cooperation with Polish entities belonging to the largest rolling stock manufacturers in Europe,” said Paweł Szutko, Director of the Traction and Transport Department at APS Energia.

APS Energia intends to develop in several strategic areas in the coming years. Among them are key segments for building an economy based on public transport (T&T, e-mobility). The Group aims to grow dynamically by taking advantage of the green transformation.
