Anatolij Gordikow assumes role as the new chairman of the Energy Committee at the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce
The Energy Committee of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (PUIG) has a new chairman. Anatolij Gordikow, an experienced sales manager for eastern markets at APS Energia SA, a Polish manufacturer of innovative power systems, has been appointed to this prestigious position.
APS Energia SA, founded in 1995 and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, manufactures advanced power systems. It supplies its innovative solutions to, among others, the power sector, including nuclear power, as well as traction and transportation, oil and gas, renewable energy, defense, and other industries. The company’s operations in the Ukrainian market have been ongoing for more than a decade, and in 2012 it launched a subsidiary there.
Since 2020, APS Energia SA has been a member of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and actively participates in many of the organization’s initiatives. The cooperation between the company and the chamber, as well as the company’s long experience in the Ukrainian market contributed to the appointment of Anatolij Gordikow as chairman of the PUIG’s Energy Committee.
“I am extremely proud of the appointment of Anatoly Gordikov as Chairman of PUIG’s Energy Committee. His professionalism and passion in the energy industry have contributed to the success of APS Energia in many foreign markets. I believe that thanks to his commitment and knowledge, cooperation between Poland and Ukraine in the field of energy will be even stronger. I wish him good luck in his new position and I’a convinced that this will be another step towards further development of our relations with Ukrainian partners,” says Piotr Szewczyk, CEO of APS Energia.
The PUIG’s substantive activities concentrate in 18 industry committees that initiate, promote and help plan and implement projects related to various aspects of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. In view of the ongoing war in Ukraine, their role in the economic arena and activities and support for the country’s reconstruction become crucial.
“I am extremely pleased to join the PUIG team, and given my background and the current situation in which Ukraine finds itself, I promise to do my best to take appropriate measures for Ukraine, those concerning both the development of energy infrastructure and those aimed at strengthening cooperation with Ukrainian entrepreneurs. In these difficult times for everyone, our eastern neighbor requires special attention, and I believe that together we will rebuild the country and at the same time gain new valuable experience,” said Anatolij Gordikow, chairman of PUIG’s Energy Committee.
PUIG brings together Polish and Ukrainian entrepreneurs, and is one of the oldest bilateral chambers of commerce in Poland, working for more than 30 years to develop mutual economic and cultural relations between Poland and Ukraine. Thanks to the implementation of a number of initiatives supporting Polish-Ukrainian relations, it is possible to effectively and professionally promote and support the business activities of Polish investors in Ukraine and Ukrainian investors in Poland. The Chamber also creates a platform for cooperation with Polish, Ukrainian, and international business and cultural organizations.
