Battery discharge system BRI
Battery discharge system BRI is designed for controlled discharge of the battery with a constant and given current value.
About product
The device has built-in resistors to discharge the battery with power up to 12 kW (depending on battery voltage and rated discharge current). The use of a power converter allows the stabilization of the discharging current at a constant, predetermined level, despite changes in the battery voltage. Controlled transistor power modules and pulse width modulation (PWM) control are used. The use of microprocessor control allows for the stable operation of the system and simple operation of the device using a console.
Features
The microprocessor control system of battery operation enables signaling of the following discharge parameters:
- Battery voltage
- Battery current
- Measured battery capacity
- Operation time
- Date and time of discharge start and end
- Outdoor temperature
- Battery capacity taking into account the outside temperature
The device has the following protection systems:
- Overheating
- Maximum battery voltage exceeded
- Indoor and/or outdoor temperature sensor damage
- No parallel communication
- Fan(s) damage
- Incorrect battery polarity
