APS Energia has secured an significant contract in Uzbekistan
APS Energia, a Polish company, has signed a contract in Uzbekistan worth 2.9 million euros. Under this agreement, the company will provide industrial power supply systems for direct and alternating current. This marks a notable milestone for APS Energia as it is their first major contract obtained in Uzbekistan. The management team is optimistic about the opportunities this achievement presents and looks forward to participating in more extensive projects within this market in the future.
APS Energia has signed an agreement with ENTER Engineering PTE, the general contractor for a gas processing plant with high CO2 and H2S content. The contract involves delivering industrial power supply systems for direct current and alternating current.
The entire project pertains to the construction of a gas plant for processing 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year from the “Mustakillikning 25 yilligi” deposit, located in the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan and owned by Surhan Gas Chemical Operating Company.
“We have been consistently expanding internationally. We have been operating in Uzbekistan for many years, but this is our first major contract there. We see this agreement as a stepping stone towards broader cooperation. The client is very promising, and we expect to continue working together. We anticipate participation in other equally large projects within the next 2-3 years,” comments Piotr Szewczyk, the CEO of APS Energia.
Previously, ENAP, a company within the APS Energia Group, had entered into an agreement for the supply, assembly, and commissioning of electrical installations as part of a contract to build a wood waste-fired cogeneration plant. The value of this contract amounts to 3.85 million euros, and the investment is being carried out within the European Union.
“Signing this contract is part of one of our strategies, which aims to increase revenues from Western European markets. We are also working on agreements with partners from Asia and Africa,” announces Piotr Szewczyk.
Since the beginning of 2022, the Group has been implementing a new strategy for the coming years, which involves dynamic development through green transformation.
