PBIW 24 VDC-33A-30 vehicle charging systems
Product description
The PBIW Vehicle Charging System is designed to charge batteries in vehicles with desulphurisation. The system consists of a base station – a PBIW series switching power supply capable of operating three sections simultaneously. Each section supports 10 Stationary Roller Retractors. In total, the system can handle up to 30 vehicles simultaneously.
The power supply base station is supplied with single-phase AC voltage. The output is a voltage of 32 VDC, which supplies the Stationary Roller Retractors. In these, the voltage is reduced to 24 VDC. A desulphurisation pulse generator is also installed here. Three types of connector are available at the output:
- clamp connection
- bolted connection
- NATO connection
The special desulphurisation pulse technology incorporated into the charging characteristics guarantees the high efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of the system.
BASE CHARGING STATION
The base station is a source of stabilised voltage of 32 VDC, used to supply power to the recharge and desulphurisation rollers of the battery bank. The station has outputs for three sections. Each section has its own protection and LEDs to indicate the presence or absence of voltage on that section. If the LEDs light up green, this indicates correct operation of the unit and power supply to each section. LED glowing red indicates that the section in question is de-energised.
