Bidirectional inverter BFI2z is a power electronic device that operates on the base of high-frequency IGBT transistors. The control algorithms were implemented on a modern DSP microprocessor controller. Bi-directional inverters of the BFI2z type are energy converters dedicated to energy storage systems.
Bidirectional inverter BFI2z basic characteristics:
- Mains AC energy convertion into DC voltage of energy storage
- Fully controlled process of battery charge and discharge according to the battery producer recommendations
- Cooperation with battery management system (BMS)
- Cooperation with energy management system (EMS)
- Operation in both operational modes: on-grid and off-grid
Features
Galvanic insulation of AC circuits from DC circuits
Signaling of operating states: charging, discharging, system start, system stop, off-grid operation
Battery status indication: charging, discharging
Signaling of alarm states: alarm, warning, overload
Protection against excessive discharge of the electrochemical battery
Remote signaling of an alarm – potential-free relay contacts
Communication with the system EMS: MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP (option)
