Warsaw University of Technology students’ visit at APS Energia
On the 18th October, 2018 APS Energia at its facilities in Stanisławow Pierwszy took in a group of the young of the Warsaw University of Technology. Among others, during Open Day the students visited APS’ research & development laboratory and met one of the company’s founders as well as an HR Department representative. The meeting, organised by APS Energia PR Department together with Academic Career Centre of the Warsaw University of Technology, is one of employer branding activities in which the company engages.
During the visit at APS Energia the students and the Warsaw University of Technology Career Centre representative listened to the lecture on APS Energia Group operations in the country and around the world which was co-presented by Prof. Antoni Dmowski PhD, Eng.* (one of the APS Energia founders, and long-standing research worker at the Warsaw University of Technology, Institute of Control and Power Electronics) and Jacek Świątek (Sales & Marketing Director at APS Energia). The students had a chance to better know the company and its hiring opportunities during “In the circle of APS career. APS Energia as an employer” presentation.
At the most, in the open meeting participated the students of the following faculties of the Warsaw University of Technology: the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, and the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology Department. After the formal part of the meeting, during picnic, the students had a chance to talk in person with APS Energia employees and learn about their work opportunities in the company.
Open Day at APS Energia is a part of employer branding activities undertaken by the company as the result of contract between APS Energia and the University signed on 16th May, 2018.
