President of APS Energia Piotr Szewczyk has become a member of the Electrical Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

 

“I am grateful for this distinction and the opportunity to collaborate with scientists and specialists in such an important scientific institution as the Polish Academy of Sciences. I am delighted to contribute to the Committee’s work with the knowledge and experience gained over 30 years of managing a company in the power electronics sector.

The Electrical Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences was established in December 1952, seven months after the creation of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The main areas of the Committee’s work include: power engineering, electrical materials and technologies, measurement systems, machinery, transformers, electrical apparatus and devices, power electronics, electric drives and traction systems.
