On 14th July 2017 APS Energia’s product  Static Switch received the Underwriters Laboratories certificate. Static Switch is exported to the US and Canadian markets. UL certification provides high level of safety, quality, durability and reliability.

Static Switch product has successfully passed the certification procedure and received a positive review from the UL inspector. APS Energia can sell this type of equipment which is noted with a special UL certification mark of the US and Canadian markets. This sign confirms the fulfillment of the safety standards that are required in those countries.

– The APS Energia Group plans to develop its sales, among others on the North America markets. The plan itself was included in the Prospectus approved by the Financial Supervision Commission in 2015. The aim is in strengthening company’s position and further development in the prospective geographical markets. Obtaining the Underwriters Laboratories certification is an important step in implementation of mentioned plans – said Piotr Szewczyk, President of the Management Board of APS Energia.

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is an independent global organization that examines and certifies products with respect to safety standards recognized in the US and Canadian markets. UL performs a variety of tests and reviews products and systems to ensure that they meet the US and Canadian market requirements. Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in the need for UL classifications among businesses as well as customers.

APS Energia devices meet the requirements of Polish and European safety standards, electromagnetic compatibility and European Union directives (CE mark), and from July 2017 also meet the US and Canadian standards.
