This season APS Energia SA continues to sponsor Warsaw University of Technology’s volleyball team – AZS.

On 12 October the team beat Effector Kielce in fine style. It was a beautiful, emotional match to inaugurate the 2013/2014 season of the Plus League.

We support the team of the university which produced many of our employees. We also have volleyball enthusiasts among us, and we often take part in competitions between companies.

AZS Warsaw University of Technology is a team with tradition. Its volleyball section was founded at AZS Warsaw in 1924, and at KU AZS Warsaw University of Technology in the mid-1950s. In 2005, the KU AZS PW started a separate men’s volleyball section, which became a separate sports club. So far, the team’s greatest achievement has been to take the 5th place twice in the Men’s Volleyball League – in the 2005/2006 and 2010/2011 seasons, and the runners-up spot in the 2012 European Challenge Cup.
