FA-type active filters and passive filters harmonic type FH

Modern electrical systems require a high level of reliability for each device installed. Harmonic currents generated by non-linear loads are one of the major causes of malfunctions in electrical equipment. FA active filters are designed to reduce the current distortion in three-phase networks. In contrast to classic filters, passive filters are characterized by their ability to adapt to the changing levels of compensated deviation, high quality filtration irrespective of the network parameters, and also the possibility of dynamic reactive power compensation.

The FH passive filters are also used to filter higher harmonics in the grid. They are a reliable and much cheaper solution. Since passive filters can generate reactive power, we recommend using them parallel to an FA active filter. The higher harmonics FH passive filters used in combination with an FA active filter form a hybrid filter. An active filter so configured is significantly smaller, compensates the reactive power generated by the passive filter and helps reduce the higher harmonics by filtering the harmonics above the seventh harmonic. Each filter for a system that requires energy quality improvement is selected separately, depending on the grid specification and the nature of interference. Selecting a proper solution requires gathering information about the power supply characteristics and its associated problems. The filter operation efficiency very much depends on the power system impedance at its connection.

FA M active filters are made in the form of a 19" module. They are suitable for installation in 19" industrial cabinets. Capacity of systems up to 30kVA.

FA M active filters are made in the form of a 19" module. They are suitable for installation in 19" industrial cabinets. Capacity of systems up to 30kVA.The system has a SAN 8 Automatic Surveillance System.

Compact hanging (FA CW) active inverters are fixed to the wall using brackets attached to the unit. Capacity of systems up to 30kVA. The system has a SAN 8 Automatic Surveillance System.

Compact standing (FA CS) active filters are fitted with a base secured to the subfloor. Capacity of systems up to 30kVA. The system has a SAN 8 Automatic Surveillance System.

Rack-mounted filters (type FA MS) are designed to operate in facilities that require high voltage quality. They can be constructed from modules or, for higher power, as a free installation in a rack. Capacity of systems up to 250kVA. Combining multiple parallel filters can increase the filtering power by several times. The system has a SAN 8 Automatic Surveillance System.

Rack-mounted FH passive filters with higher harmonics are designed to operate in facilities that require high voltage quality. Capacity of systems up to 500kVA. The system is equipped with a controller regulating the FH filter parameters. The system has a SAN 8 Automatic Surveillance System.
